Our Annual Conference Just Happened on June 17th
The Washington Coin and Bullion Association’s campaign to repeal Washington’s sales tax on precious metals has gained bipartisan support from 26 legislators, but state revenue has fallen well short of projections, strengthening the case that the tax is hurting businesses without generating the expected income. Looking ahead to the next legislative session, the association plans to expand outreach, present district-specific economic data, and encourage members to work directly with lawmakers to build support for repeal.
